The Dooly County courthouse, seen here in a photograph taken around 1910, was constructed in 1891 from Georgia granite, slate, and brick. This stately building was recently restored and is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Below is a more recent color photograph of how the courthouse looks today.
